Leyou Technologies Holdings Limited was a Hong Kong-based video game holding company specializing in developing and publishing PC and console video games. Founded in 2010 as a transformation of Sumpo Food Holdings, Leyou acquired major game development studios including Digital Extremes (known for Warframe), Splash Damage, and established Athlon Games as its publishing platform. The company focused on free-to-play multiplayer games targeting the global market. In December 2020, Leyou was fully acquired by Chinese technology giant Tencent for approximately $1.3-1.5 billion, after which it became a subsidiary rather than an independent publisher.
