Samsung Electronics is a South Korean multinational corporation founded in 1969, and a subsidiary of the Samsung Group. In the world of video games, Samsung is notable for releasing the Gam*Boy (a licensed version of Sega Master System) in Korea, as well as becoming one of the first Korean companies to localize video games professionally. Samsung developed the only Korean Mega Drive (Genesis) game, Uju Geobukseon (1993). During the nineties their internal development teams also made a few games for the PC.
