Iwasaki Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd. (岩崎技研工業株式会社) was a Kyoto-based company that was primarily invloved in software development. They were notably contracted by Nintendo to reverse engineer Donkey Kong for the purpose of developing Donkey Kong Jr. in 1983. They would later assist Nintendo R&D1 with programming development on a number of games on the Famicom/NES, until the programming division was split off to become Intelligent Systems in 1986. The company closed in April 2000.
